Alia Bhatt has become a global sensation, and her looks at the 79th Cannes Film Festival 2026 are testament to how elegantly she represents India. The actress has now revealed her skincare secret, and it`s not what you think.
As a global brand ambassador for the beauty brand L`Oréal Paris, Alia has become one of the most-watched Indian stars at the prestigious event.
While speaking to Marie-Clare France at Cannes, the actress was asked about her beauty and skincare routine. Instead of highlighting expensive products or treatments, Bhatt named this Indian ingredient that`s commonly available in every home.

"Ghee! We cook our food in ghee, at least in my home, and a lot of people do. It`s great, it`s great for the gut, it`s great for the skin," she shared.
The Gangubai Kathiyawadi actress explained that she regularly eats a special snack made with four simple ingredients which is commonly available in every Indian kitchen.
Alia Bhatt further disclosed, "There`s this snack that I have; it`s basically ghee with a little bit of jaggery, some crushed peanuts and a little bit of coconut. It`s a skin snack; I have it so that my skin looks great, and genuinely, it works. It really works."
What did Alia Bhatt wear at Cannes?
The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani actress made sure all eyes were on her. From a custom Tamara Ralph blush pink gown to a Tarun Tahiliani saree-inspired ensemble, Alia had heads turning throughout the red carpet.
This marks her second appearance at the international film festival, representing India as a global brand ambassador for L`Oréal Paris.
Her recent look was designed by Tarun Tahiliani – a masterpiece in a custom ensemble designed around chintz-inspired florals.
